Hello friends!
My name is Zoe Gauthier and I am 18 years old living in Lafayette, Louisiana. I am currently a senior in high school studying ecosystems and environmental science! A few things I love are festivals, listening to music, traveling, nature, my friends, and my family! I absolutely love being outdoors and just embracing God’s creation and the beauty of nature! I have a brother named Jackson who is 13 years old and two dogs that are also considered siblings! My brother goes everywhere with me and I mean everywhere! We enjoy each others’ company, although, many times we deny it. My parents are separated so I have two houses and a dog at each one. Some of my hobbies include looking at beautiful flowers and plants, traveling anywhere and everywhere, and being in the woods at my camp! I am sort of a confusing mix, and by that I mean I like everything! I am not enclosed to just one label because I can be anyone I want and I can do everything I believe that I can! This empowers me to do as many things in life as possible, and that is why I am so excited to take part in this journey! My relationship with God has allowed me to love myself more than ever before and to stop searching for a certain label to put on myself. I have come to the conclusion that my only label is “His daughter” and that exceeds all. This journey will help me grow in my relationship with Him and help to learn new cultures and most importantly, show others just how awesome and powerful God’s love is! Speaking of culture, I have a deep love for learning and loving culture! My culture is Cajun and I take pride in it because it is so beautiful to me! It means love for all and the best food ever! Traveling has introduced me to many different cultures and learning so many things about each. Every culture has their own meaning and so much hidden beauty that becomes discovered once you open your mind. With traveling, I have learned to maintain an open mind and an open perception so I can learn an enjoy everything in life! I absolutely cannot wait to take off on this incredible journey! I thank God everyday for giving me the strength and bravery to travel across the world and show His love to all! I love taking risks because I know that God is always in control!
