The men of X squad took some time to reflect on one another’s growth. We knew that we wouldn’t be the same men as we return home after these 11 months, so we decided to write a testimony for each other so that you could be reintroduced to the men you’ll Be talking to at end of June. This is what my brother, Dosson, wrote about me.

Nickolas Isaiah Carter

Where to begin… This man will be unrecognizable when he returns to the states. Isaiah did not even begin this race with the same name. God began to transform his life the moment he started this journey. He is a giant in the Kingdom, and serves with a passion and a zeal that can only come from the Lord. His desire to know the Lord more intimately is inspiring, and his knowledge and wisdom blesses everyone who has the privilege to receive it.

Isaiah has not only discovered his gifts, but he is walking in authority. His walk with the Lord will be something for his community to get use to when he returns home. He will not be home but for a brief season, and that’s a testament to his pursuit after the Lord. This man embodies Luke 9:23, and the way he lives his life is infectious.

Just thinking of all the ways Isaiah has impacted my life alone is enough to know that God has much more for him. He will lead countless people to Christ. His ministry will shake the nations and move them to shout out the Name above all names.

His joy is boundless, he has a true grip on what this life is truly meant for, he is willing to sacrifice it all for the sake of Christ, and his soul knows it’s worth.

I am blessed that I got to experience my race with him. But more than that, I get to run this race we call life with my brother. Proximity will change, but the dynamic doesn’t. That’s the beauty of being a disciple of Christ.

Many are called, few are chosen. My brother, Nickolas Isaiah Carter, is CHOSEN.
