6 months from TODAY, I launch for the World Race. THAT’S CRAZY.

I found out a little less than 6 months ago that i was accepted to the World Race. The days since then have FLOWN by. I feel like it was yesterday that i was in the car shouting of joy to random strangers (literally people on the streets of Athens, GA) after the exciting phone call i had just received of being accepted on this trip. Thankfully, one of my best friends Anna Claire got to witness it with me. She’s the best.

Recently I’ve been stuck in this weird bittersweet stage of soon leaving the people i love and cherish, but also ready for what’s ahead. I’m ready for the complete unknown of what is coming. Senior Year is weird man. I’ve been processing a lot these past few weeks and i’m feeling super thankful. I have a incredible supporting community of believers around me, who believe and Jesus and believe in ME. And that reminds me of how loved I am.

I think God puts people here to remind us of how loved we are. How he views us as sons and daughters. And how He is GREATER than what this earthly life throws at us.

I have 6 months to get to love the people i love here in the states, 6 months to fundraise $10,000 dollars, and 6 months to prepare for the crazy life ahead of me. I’m feeling thankful and capable, because God calls me his own.

Written with a lot of love
