You all remember at the start of the Race when I gave you those notes with things that I saw in each of you. Well my hope was to write a note to each of you at the end of the Race as well and since I left, I figure this is the best place to write these notes to you all and do some form of ATL (Ask the Lord if you are not familiar) of my own. You all have grown so much and I attest to that in our short four months together.
So here it goes.
Unshakeable
Mikayla: You gave it your all. For the short time you were on the Race. You gave everything you had. I watched you mature as a woman of God and grow in obedience to your calling. You have grown in love and joy since getting off the Race and I have no doubt that you are impacting the youth in Chicago today. Keep surrounding yourself with community that will call you higher and encourage the growth that they have already seen. You are so dearly loved and cherished.
Cameron: You have grown into the life that the Lord has for you. You grew out of baseball and the Lord honored your faithfulness in the fact that he gave it back to you. You have grown in knowledge of who you are and what you are going to do with this life. You love like the Lord in desiring only to speak life and love into others circumstances. The Lord loves your heart for orphans and cherishes your heart for Lesotho and all that you have seen there. He sees your obedience and loves you for it.You are so dearly loved and cherished.
Ozzie: The Lord sees the trust that you have grown in in Him. You have grown in dependance and trust through your leadership in logistics. You learned to trust that things would work out and be alright even when things didn’t go exactly as expected, The Lord saw your faith grow in the trials and he honors that with his love. You my friend are so very deeply loved and cherished by the squad and everyone who comes in contact with you.
Kayla: The Lord has seen you grow in ways this past year that are setting you up for a better life coming home. He sees your love and loves it in ways you don’t even fathom yet. He loves that you are learning how to lead in serving others and how you have grown in self love to better serve others around you. The Lord loves that you seek to live uncomfortably everyday and you are a blessing to everyone who comes in contact with you. You are so very deeply loved and cherished by the squad.
Matt: The Lord has seen you grow in vulnerability. The way in which you process and value even the most difficult situations and process them with the Lord, then share that with your team. He loves your heart for sports and loves how you bring a light hearted attitude to every situation looking to see the good in everything. You my friend are so deeply adored and loved by God and the squad.
Michael: The Lord has seen you grow in vision and making that vision come alive. The way in which you care for others and seek to live in dependance is a great testament to how you have grown. Your love is evident in your actions and is showing its self in stewardship of the responsibilities that have been given to you. You are so loved and cherished.
Crystal: The Lord sees your courage and deep love of conquering fears. You, my friend, are amazing. The Lord sees how you seek him and loves your heart for people and cherishes you to the highest place. He loves your story and loves to be a part of your process. He deeply runs in your veins and sees your soul how he created it to be. You are so deeply loved and cherished by the people on the squad and everyone who comes in contact with you. You have an impact.
Momacitas:
Ali: Your boldness was evident from day one of Training Camp and you continued to step more and more into that life. The Lord has seen you grow so much in obedience and love for the broken people of this world. You came home without hesitation seeking his voice and love for your life and he sees how you have surrounded yourself with people who encourage that in you. You are so dearly loved and cherished.
Lindsey: The Lord sees your faith and loves all that you are. He sees the bold steps you are taking to follow Him and he is there with you. You have grown so much in joy and peace that He can’t help but smile over you. He is deeply in love with your story and loves to see how you turn everything over to Him. He loves your quiet space where He speaks to you. You are so deeply and dearly loved and a very intricate part of the squad.
Mary: The Lord sees your heart and loves your heart for economics and business. He has seen your growth in knowing his voice to the core of your being and loves how you experience the world and how you want to do something about it. He sees your heart for the lost and broken and loves how you press into that pain. You are so dearly loved and cherished by the squad and the people you have come in contact with.
Amber: The Lord has walked you through much this year and has honored that with a blossoming faith. He has grown you in strength to see the world through his eyes and He is so proud of the way you have handled it all. The Lord has much much more for you and He will bless you because of your listening to his voice. You are so valued and loved and cherished by the squad and the Lord. Keep pressing into his goodness and love.
Amanda: The Lord sees all of your art as an act of worship and love for the father. He cherishes it and sees it as wonderful and beautiful like you are. He knows what a heart for him looks like and is so in love with your heart after him and He delights in the time you lead worship and loves all that you do and how you seek to serve the squad. You are so dearly loved and cherished by the squad and the life you breath for Christ.
Courtney: The Lord sees your overwhelming joy for his Kingdom and is growing you in ways to share that life giving joy. You are a warrior who has been through much and shows relentlessly the kingdom coming in the life you are living. Your heart breaks for the brokenness of the world and your life leads to others giving thanks. You are so deeply loved and cherished by the squad and everyone who comes in contact with you.
Taylor: A piece of my heart will always be stuck in your blog I cry everyday. The Lord sees your tears and heart for every place you have been and is writing a beautiful story of redemption in the life of the people you have come in contact with. The Lord honors your faith and courage with a loving gentleness of his voice in your life showing you that you are loved and cared for by him. You are so very valued and loved and cherished by everyone on the squad and anyone who comes in contact with you.

Marah: I hope you found a new exit buddy. The Lord sees so much life and drive in your spirit for what is to come and he absolutely loves your heart. He sees how you lead and wants to encourage that in you. He loves your boldness for leading worship and he cherishes your profound testimony. He sees your life as one of continual growth and an overflow of his love of this world. You are so deeply loved and cherished, friend.
Lakota: The Lord has seen you grow in knowing that your voice matters and can be of value when there is conflict. You are so strong and your strength shines through your vulnerability and understanding that it’s about how the Lord sees situations and how to bring life into circumstances. You are truly one of a kind and so very loved by K Squad.
Sandy: The Lord has seen you grow in knowledge. He sees your heart and he loves your heart after him. He has seen you grow in love and power but most of all knowledge. He loves that you are seeking to be so knowledgeable and share out of the knowledge of experience and the knowledge he is giving to you. The way you love people is so unique and the way you care for people is how you overflow from love and life in your quiet space. Jessie B.: The Lord sees your love for people and values your faithful heart to showing the gospel with great love and joy. He sees your boldness and cherishes it to the fullest capacity. He loves that you are full of grace and compassion. He knows who you are and you are totally sold out for him. You are so deeply valued, loved and cherished by K squad and your family back in South Carolina.
Emma: The Lord has always seen your strength and now he sees your endurance. You have used your wisdom and skill for the beauty of God and he loves and cherishes that. You have lead the storytellers with kindness and strength and have made Gods love so evident through your passion and abilities. You are so deeply loved and cherished by K Squad and everyone you have come in contact with.
Jessie L. The Lord sees your bold, gentle spirit and how you love everyone you see. Your love overflows with joy and life and praise for the Lord. He sees that you have grown in passion for the lost and broken. You have been through much and your desire for the Lords face has only grown this year. Mike: The Lord sees your heart and loves the way in which you seek his face. He loves how you confront hard things with a belief that everything will work out okay. He loves your attitude of jumping in wherever you can. He has seen growth in your faith and listening to His voice. You are wrapped in gold and have been called a son and you are living in to that identity for which you have been given. You are adored and very loved by the squad and all who come in contact with you.
KAlyx/Aly-x/Alyx: The Lord has grown you in maturity and faith and love for others. He sees your dependance upon him and is honoring that by putting you in spots to lead people into deeper dependance. He loves your heart and loves what you do and how you seek his face. He takes great pleasure in you and loves the ways you are growing in follower-ship of him. He will continue to show his face in your surrender. You are most deeply loved and cherished by all.
Carsyn: You have been through much this past year. The Lord sees your faithfulness and love for people. He loves how you have grown to live with him and just sit in his presence. He adores and admires your heart to grow and process through what is happening in life. He listens to your heart cry and he says yes to all of it. You are so deeply loved and cherished by everyone who comes in contact with you.
Anthony: The Lord sees your adventurous heart and loves to seek adventure with you. You have grown in your love of life and your heart for service. He sees you continually seeking out the hard things to allow him to refine you in the fire and continually grow into the man Jesus is and the life he is growing you into to share the Gospel where you are. You are so dearly loved and cherished by the ones who have come in contact with you.
Clayton: The Lord sees how you have grown to speak on topics that matter. You have grown to see the world in such a light that you know when you need to speak and you have learned to give voice to the voiceless. You have grown in life and love and power in the spirit. You live as you are loved and you are so very deeply loved by the squad and your family at home.
Karrie: Your small frame holds a giant heart full of love and joy and peace. The Lord sees your life and all that you have been through and loves all of it. He loves the fact that you share a life with 10 siblings and that they are all adopted. He loves your courage and excitable spirit and he most of all loves your yes to anything and everything he has for you. K squad is not K squad without you Kerrie. You are so deeply and dearly loved by everyone on the squad and you have lived into speaking your voice when it is needed most.
Harbor:
Julie: Your word was Rest. You have learned what that word means and the Lord sees the hope and the joy you carry from the depths of your being. You are fight for and with the life you live and you lead with kindness and courage and decisiveness. You my friend are deeply values and cherished by the Lord. He has revealed a light in your soul and you don’t hide it in anything you do or say. You are a strong woman who lives in love with her Father. K squad would by no means be the same without you. You are deeply loved and Cherished friend.
Dylan: Your word was give. You have learned what your word means. The Lord sees you giving of everything and loves your heart mind and soul so much for the life you lead. You my friend have let all of the head knowledge you possessed at the start of the race sink down into your heart and it overflows in how you love others so well. You are a gentle and kind spirit and you love so well. Your life is an emblem for Christ and it flows from the depths of your being. You give K squad character and you live in love with the father. You are so deeply loved and cherished and valued by K squad and everyone who comes in contact with you, friend.
Rachel: Your word was peace. I know you know what that word means for you. The Lord sees you in the fullness of his gospel and has grown you in courage and strength to press into the challenging places. You my friend have a striking boldness about you which draws out the best in others. This life you lead is so obviously in the hands of Yeshua (Jesus) it bleeds all over everyone and it is beautiful to see. You are so deeply loved and cherished by the squad and everyone you come in contact with.
Hannah: Your word was Hope. I know you chased this word and its meaning for your life in this season. The Lord loves your heart for women and women in bondage to things. This life you live is just that. Your strong desire to see women set free from the life that they are living is of the Lord. You are an example of a proverbs 31 woman. You are so valued and loved and cherished by this squad and everyone who knows you.
Zach: I believe your word was gentleness. You know what that means for you. The Lord saw the hard places of your past and called them beautiful. Your life is so open and vulnerable. You never take the safe route always risking something. The Lord loves your character and remembers how you have grown and continue to grow. Your life is a model for everyone around you and K squad would not be the same with out your passion and love. Everyone knows your name because you show undying love for them. You are so loved and cherished and valued by K squad and the people you come in contact with.
Thank you leadership for giving the truth in love and not being afraid to have hard conversations and leading them in love. Thank you for telling me what we needed to hear not what we wanted to hear. Thank you for being so open and vulnerable with your lives and leading from a place of reliance on the Lord. Thank you for fighting for us all and never giving up on us even when we wanted to.
Thank you K Squad for sharing your hearts with me. You all have had an impact in shaping my life and you will ever be with me in how I see the world and how I love others as well as myself. All my love for all of you. Thank you for teaching me what love truly looks like and living in that. I love and cherish each and every one of you, all 37 of you made it this far and God is only starting with us!
