I went into Walgreens just about a month ago to take my passport picture for my World Race Adventure. After talking to one of the cashiers about the reason I was there and all where I was going she kind of got all choked up and proceeded to tell me that she was from Zimbabwe, which is one of the places me and my team will be going, and then proceeded to say “sir all I have is $60 but I want you to have it for helping out my country and for spreading God’s word.” That meant so much to me! And God just continues to show how great He is even at the most random times! Through out my journey of fundraising and gathering donations I’ve found that it’s the people you don’t expect to donate who do actually donate. It’s not always about how a person looks or talks, so we can’t hesitate because to God we are all his children with no labels. God doesn’t put labels on people so why do we? Thank God for giving me the ability to hold a conversation with a brick wall because it has come in handy throughout this tough process. To anyone who is currently gathering donations just talk people’s ear off and God WILL provide! Trust in Him!
