Everyday we wake up, every single one of us gets to make the conscious decision to make life an exciting adventure or it can be “just another day” and unfortunately so many people complain about “just another day.” We could actually learn a lot from gool ol’ Pooh Bear when it comes to adventures. God will always put excitement and adventure in our life, it’s only up to us to make the choice. Take for example the World Race, it’s a very exciting adventure to serve God. Sometimes the adventure may seem a little iffy followed by some doubt, other adventures you KNOW for a fact it’ll be an amazing one! God knows us, each and every single one of us personally, He’s going to put us in times that He knows we love and some that we don’t love but we can grow from. I’ve come to find out that God likes to put spontaneous things in my life which I love 50% of the time and I get worried the other 50%. Take for example when my friends and I all go camping in the middle of no where with no designated campsite or plan! I LOVE just finding a piece of earth next to a waterfall, parking the truck and having to hike to a location to hang up the hammocks and relax. But then when I get talked into running the 10K Peachtree road race I start to have my doubts and worries. Will it be fun? Is it really worth it? And I love when I quote Pooh and say “Oh bother” but God proves me wrong! It’s those adventures that make you think “Why would I ever doubt God and think He would put me in a situation where I didn’t belong or I hated or couldn’t grow from?” I was dreading the Peachtree race and about 2 miles in my friends said “Why did we talk you, a personal trainer, into running with us?” It was a blast! Long story short, make life an adventure, even if you doubt there’s only one way to find out. Trust God and the plans/adventures he has out there for you. Take advantage of every one of them! He has made so much on this earth for us to enjoy, don’t make it “just another day.” That being said, I am beyond excited for training camp this week!!
