Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, I am preparing to embark on the mission field for 11 months with a program called The World Race with Adventures in Missions. The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries! I am so excited to shine Jesus’ light and be His hands in feet in these countries and to these beautiful people. Thank you to everyone who has given, bought a T shirt, came to events and just prayed over this. The Lord has taught me so much in this season of preparing and fundraising, the main and quickest lesson being that I cannot do this without him. He has been so gracious in supplying for every need. I am so excited to say we are a little under three thousand dollars from meeting our second deadline of raising $10,0000 by July 20th!
With that being said, I have sent you this letter to thank you, keep you in the loop and share a special fundraiser. On May 27th I turn 24 years old. The year of 23 has been a year of teaching moments, letting my yes be yes and my no be no, surrendering all of my problems and failures and leaving them in His hands. Most importantly, the year of 23 I said yes. I said yes to Jesus and I said yes to Going. His people are so special and so sweet and I have this amazing opportunity to go all over the globe in the beauty of His creation to declare his glory. Here’s where you come in. On my birthday weekend, May 25th-27th, I am having a weekend-long fundraiser. I am asking that you consider donating 24 dollars toward my World Race! We are celebrating that weekend with 24 dollars for 24 years! We are declaring that Jesus is faithful in all things, and He will provide the money, the donors, the people, the gear. It’s all for His glory! His! With that being said, I hope you will prayerfully consider donating and giving me the birthday gift of a lifetime to meet my second deadline! I believe Jesus can! I know in my heart we are better together. I cannot do this without you.
