Over the past few weeks I’ve been extremely busy preparing to leave for the Race. Now that all the packing is done and the goodbyes are said, it’s starting to feel so real. As I come to realize how amazing these next nine months are going to be, I’ve been reminded of the incredible people who have helped make this my reality.
Thank you! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve God overseas. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for praying for me and believing in me. Thank you for the generosity you have shown me. I am blown away by all the people who have stood behind me as I prepared for this journey. I can honestly say your support has been and will continue to be life-changing.
I am currently in the Atlanta airport and we are about to head out to the Dominican Republic. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of my squad mates and me as well as the people we interact with in the Dominican Republic. God has placed us in the DR to be His hands and feet in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. His timing is perfect.
Much love!
-Zach
