Yesterday marks one month since I left for launch.  I have learned so much about myself, God, and others in the past month.  The Dominican Republic has been full of love and adventure.  I learned so much about who God made me to be and the Sonship God has gifted me.  I have learned that even though physical labor isn’t always fun or even fulfilling, it can be a huge blessing to those who are in need.  I have learned how much of a blessing the love and laughter of a child can be. I have learned how quickly friendships can be built even when you don’t speak the same language.  I have learned the pain of saying goodbye to newfound friends.  I feel so blessed that the Lord called me to the DR, and I will never forget the places, people, and moments I experienced here.

I am currently in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic for debrief, a five-day period meant for rest and relaxation before we continue our ministry.  On Tuesday the 10th, my team and I will head to Titanyen, Haiti where we will be serving with Mission of Hope Haiti for one month.  While we are in Haiti, we will be helping with village ministry, construction, and English classes.  I look forward to everything God has in store for my squad and me this next month.  As always your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement are appreciated.

Much love,

Zach
