Day to day life was a good intro into the next 10 months. We were blessed with actually having heaters in our room which was wild as I expected to be frigidly cold all night and wake up in a ball of ice. Then on top of that we had hot water for showers too. Counting ALL of my blessings!

So our typical day was wake up and meet with our squad together in the morning for devotional at the coffee shop where we were ministering. It’s a JOY to wake up and spend time with my brothers and sisters in worship and just digging into the Word and glean off what God is sharing with each of us.

That’s always the beginning but every single day holds something new. There’s painting, picking up trash, teach English and share the gospel through that conversation! Then there’s my favorite which was teaching English to the children. Gosh they just took my heart away! This one girl, Koharu, was the sweetest and smartest and it was so hard to say goodbye. She said, “Zach, please come back” when she found out I was leaving and it broke me. Who knew that you could build such a connection in less than a month! This may become more difficult than I thought going into each new month. But you know what, it’s not just about me. It’s about having faith in Holy Spirit that he will continue the work in those we have impacted here. The seeds are planted and it’s not dependent upon myself to make it grow. I’m so thankful that I can have faith that He will continue this work far beyond the time we had in Japan.

Japan was a huge blessing, nevertheless the journey must go on. So many things to be thankful for and we never go a day without thanking God for everything He’s given is. Taiwan is here and there’s been an insurmountable amount of things that have happened so quickly and just incredible stories about God working through our team.

It’s been pretty rough amidst all of the things that we’ve been doing to get these updates out there but we’re working on it! Thanks for sticking with me!

Prayer Requests:

While in Taiwan that God would open up even more doors and opportunities for us to share the Gospel.

Pray that we would be attentive to Holy Spirit’s guiding in what we do each day and that we would have boldness in sharing about Christ.

Pray that the hearts of the Taiwanese people would be open to hearing about Jesus.

Your prayers mean so much to me and I know how incredibly God will work through your faithful prayers.

Financially- I’m currently at 80% of my pledged support which means that I only have $4000 remaining for my entire goal. That is incredible news folks! God has been so faithful to provide through all of your support these past few months. I cannot thank you enough for helping me be the hands and feet of Jesus to spread the Gospel! That being said, I ask that you pray about supporting this mission to reach the unreached if you’re not already partnering with us. Every little bit counts!

Thanks so much for following and praying with me on this journey! Love you guys!
