While there are several different mission organizations out there, I’m sure you’re probably wondering why choose the World Race? For me, I wanted to partner with an organization that is going to challenge me to step out of my comfort zone and truly begin to actually live out my faith. The World Race does just that. As I am traveling to Colombia few things are certain, but I am fully confident that I will see God work in mighty ways. It can be scary to take a leap of faith that will take me far outside my comfort zone. It is during those times where I have to be fully reliant on God that I can begin to see God transforming my life as well as the lives around me. Going to Colombia through the World Race is a total God thing. A few months ago, I would have never dreamed of doing something like this, but after God worked on my heart for weeks I am now fully ready to jump into this trip. It is by far one of the most frightening things that I have ever done, but I know that this is where God wants me to go.
At the end of each of my blogs I will provide things to pray for so be on the look out for these requests!
Prayer requests:
For me to continue in this pursuit of the unknown. That I may be challenged in my faith to grow in reliance on God.
For all of the necessary funds to come through.
For safety before, during, and after the trip.
Begin to pray for the hearts of the people going to Colombia and the people in Colombia that they may be open and receptive to the Holy Spirit.
