For those that don’t know me, I am currently a senior at Point University in West Point, GA. I am studying secondary education with an emphasis in history. This spring semester will be my last semester of college and I will be student teaching in a 10th grade world history class. I grew up in a small town in Iowa and have ventured to Georgia to go to school. While in Georgia, my friends have really gotten me into the outdoors. Outside of teaching, you can almost always find me outside. Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking, camping, running, and rock climbing.
I have been given the amazing opportunity to serve in Colombia in June of 2020 with Adventures in Missions. Over the past year, my heart has been opened to immigrants, specifically in teaching them English. I was able to spend a month teaching mostly Guatemalan students in an ESOL classroom and absolutely fell in love with it. I now hope to go and do the same in Colombia. I have no idea what the future holds, but I am so excited to step out of my comfort zone and follow God to Colombia. I would love to have you join me in support, whether that be financially or with your prayers. Love you all!
