Hello lovely humans and Happy Monday!
So I coordinated both ArtsGiving showcases this past couple of weeks. How’d it go? You ask. Ummm well. The first showcase only two people came, and they were performers so they don’t count! The second event was better but not as much of a turn out as I expected.
With “everything happens for a reason” (Romans 2:28) repeating in my mind after long thoughts and prayers I realized something. I’m not going to get the result I want(reach my goal) because of my works, but because of God’s’ guidance and providence.
I spent time with God reflecting on my striving efforts and made the conscious decision to slow down and follow his guidance. Though those events I met and connected with some amazing people from my community. They serve our community with their art and talents. I did interviews and recorded videos of my passion to serve. Before I knew it in just a few days I had raised a quarter of my goals. It’s so much more rewarding to follow God and watch his plan unfold before my eyes allowing me to share my testimony with folks like you!
