I wrote an email to kim kinsley that’s out there right now, just cuz i had some questions about some stuff. here’s a little of what she wrote back. her answers are in red.

no i dont know what size, but all i have to say is this… if you look at it and go “wow that is a big pack” then its too big… if you think it is too small it is probably a good size, they get heavy very fast and you will be walking miles with them on you “
“do you guys always do your laundry by hand?
you do have to do laundry by hand, but not all the time many places you go they have places you can take your clothes and overnight the ladies there will do them for you, depending on where you are will depend on the cost”
“do you tent camp most of the time or no?
yes and no for the first half of the trip we did not use our tents at all and now we use them almost everywhere… at the beginning of the trip you do not realize how tight your budget is and when you start to realiza that you have to camp more often, you have no choice… you will run out of money if not “
“how necessary is cooking stuff? cuz i or we, as far as i know, haven’t been told to bring cooking stuff. i could be wrong and may have missed that memo, but yeah.
you HAVE to have this… while you are camping how else are you going to eat? are you not going to eat? you cant go out every meal, and there may be no place to go… this is VERY neccessary ” –

i think it was a good start, but like i said if you or anyone else need to know anything just let me know. thats what i am here for. i was in your shoes and had noone to answer me because noone had done it, now we have, take advantage of that. 🙂 ….KIM
