Hello everybody,
Praying blessings upon you as you prepare for our fast. Fasting is a personal thing that draws us more near to God. The Bible says that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8) Fasting is not an easy thing to do, and truthfully it is not much fun, except for knowing the reward that comes with it. Here is a Scripture to encourage you during the fast:
“Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:1-16

***TIP, Don’t eat a huge meal on Tuesday night! Your stomach does not digest quick enough, and you will encounter much hunger pangs! Happy Fasting
