I took a short trip to chicago this past weekend to see some friends, and was able to hook up with stackie! we went to church together, then visited the leaning tower of Piza.
While we were there, a girl from Poland who took our picture with my camera, then accidentally stepped on and kicked stacy’s camera. it crunched pretty good. we both totally saw it coming, but it was one of those thinking in slow motion things, and we didn’t actually think she’d step on it!
then we did some research at the ‘Official World Race outfitter’, REI.
then we looked for a place to eat. and we kinda did an A.T.L thing 🙂 for where to eat. we were both kinda feelin a cheap chinese buffet type of place, and low and behold:
How fitting is that for two people that are going to be traveling the world!!!! we didn’t eat there though. it was $9.99. too much for our cheap selves.
so we went to taco bell instead. we talked about the trip and about our current situations and stuff. it was good. and this was stacy’s gift to me:
