Memorial Day… What a great day. There are so many men and women who
are serving and have served our country that do not get the thanks or
respect they deserve. I am so thankful for the sacrifices they make.
May the Lord be with them.
Today I really enjoyed having a day off. It was my first long weekend
since Christmas. I spent the day cleaning out my parents attic. I was
amazed by the number of things we had up there that we don’t use. I am
planning on holding a garage sale to support my trip and then I am
partnering with my church to do a rumage sale. I love garage sales,
thrift stores, and sorting through boxes of old stuff. Its like a
treasure hunt and there is no telling what treasures may be found.
Today my discovered treasure was a knee-high waterproof heeled boot
with siikly funky lining that fits me. It was my mom’s when she was
just out of college, hopefully tommorrow I will find the mate. Well I
don’t really have much to say I just wanted to post my first blog
ever. I do have one final question, any word on when we will find out
our itinerary or possible countries we will be visiting? I am so
excited to start researching for the trip.
