So…..some of us midwesterners got together on Oct 27-29 in Chicago to hang out and go to an REI garage sale, where we got some fat deals, and spent over $1700 or $1800 bucks just between like 5 of us!

  1. we hung out
  2. walked A BUNCH!
  3. ate at ed debevic’s, where they are intentionally rude to you. (MADGE!)
  4. ate at a mexican restaurant that used to be Michael Jordan’s restaurant. our waiter was dressed up in a cape and mask
  5. went to navy pier
  6. ate ice cream
  7. played on a beach
  8. watched ‘Over The Hedge’ at Stacy’s friends apt
  9. played apples to apples (andrews cool version) at 1am
  10. played on a playground
  11. andrew and i ate at a himalayan restaurant where we had powdered milk balls
  12. emilie and i bought a meal for two homeless guys, and one asked us to pray for him
  13. jimmy talked to another homeless guy and paid for his bus fare

so yeah, it was short, but it was great! great to hang out in a different atmosphere and talk about the trip and have fun!
