There is a sweet, sweet family in our church, the Alonsos.
They have been a great role-model family for me for the past several years and I just love them.
When I left for training everything was fine with them.
But, by the time I got back Mrs. Alonso (Loli, sounds like lowly) had gone to Venezuela for treatment of some kind.
I found out recently that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.
I don’t know any details about it, but her family is really hurting and they all need our prayers right now.
Her husband, Jose, usually works in Dallas during the week and comes home to Houston on the weekends, but since Loli has been gone he has not been able to work and has had to take care of their 3 small children by himself.
He and the kids are planning on going to Venezuela to visit her at the end of the week.
Please keep this family lifted up, it breaks my heart to see them go through this.
