Blogging…

                Life is
good. Ministry is awesome. I am in our new place, and I am just in awe. They
have kept our team in Malawi for 2nd month. We are in Senga Bay. I
don’t know if you know what Malawi has… It has a GIANT crystal clear lake. Senga bay is part of that. They
house/missionaries, Marie and Johanne, that we are staying with are directly on
the bay. Literally I walk out the back gate and I am on the beach. They have a
boat, and they are letting me use it! Can I say Christmas in Malawi is going to be AMAZING!

                This
place is a haven! It is a house on the water that has a lot of rooms for people
to come on vacation. Usually it is used for missionaries that need a vacation,
or just a weekend getaway. I look forward to the ministry, but am excited that
this month I will be able to play around a little bit in the water which I have
so desperately missed.

                The
ministry here is a bit strange compared to the preaching, teaching, street
evangelism of last month. We are working projects, preparing a 30′ boat that
was under water for two years to be used for evangelism around the lake;
preparing the beginning works of a coffee shop here on the premises to bring
people in so that they can begin evangelism here.

                This
house is located next door to a Muslim mosque. There is a huge Muslim community
here, and it is a bit strange to here the prayers going up over a speaker at
4:30 in the morning.  About 1 mile from
the house and the mosque is a witch doctor. The spiritual climate here is
heavy. 3 competing things, one Truth!

                Be in
prayer for us as we are under a bit of an attack. One member of the 2 teams has
come down with Malaria and the chicken pox (Yeah, that’s right, the chicken
pox!!!). Another seems to have some sort of chicken pox like thing on their
knees, another is not feeling well, having muscle aches and fatigue. I am doing
just fine! I got a root canal about a week ago, and feel just peachy!

                Also,
prayer request/call to action, Sara Hanson, Krystel Kemper, Carrie Miranda, and
I are all still in need of funds to finish off our support raising. I need
3000, Carrie needs about 2, and Sara and Kystel I can’t remember. So if you can
help me/them out please do so…

                Pray
for rest, not just for the 2 teams here at the bay, but for Johanne and his
wife Marie and there 3 kiddos. I pray we are not a burden on them, but a way
for them to relax a bit.

                Praises:
WOOOOOOOIEEEEE! I am on Lake Malawi and
going to get some snorkeling time in, perhaps even an actual dive in(The rainy
season is here and it has rained probably 5 inches in the last week so maybe a
dive if the water clears back up… Usually it is crystal clear like the day we
got here!) People here in the surrounding community have no clue of how much
they are loved, not just by Johanne and Marie, but by a living awesome God, and
I get to be a part of sharing that with them! Praise God! WOOT WOOT

                Internet
will be slightly scarce again this month in that we are having to share one
internet usb stick thing between 15 people. So, just to not be a burden I won’t
be around much. Know that when I do check my emails I will do my best to save
any emails I get to my desktop, respond, and send it out the next time I get
online.

Anywho, I wrote a lot! God bless, good night, and Merry
December!
