Malawi Malawi Malawi,

                What
can I say about this place other than I am in love. The air is warm, the people
are kind, and the scenery is amazing. I can’t even begin to put into words how
I feel about this place. Mostly I can just say that if God opens a door for me
to come back, then in the words of Arnold, “I’ll be back”.

The ministry here:

House Visits: We go door to door
with a local from our church. I have spent a lot of time with Moses and Patrick
ministering to the people around town. We go in, we share the gospel, we pray.
We have prayed AID’s and strokes out of people. We have prayed pain out of
people, and when we have gone back to visit them, they tell us that they remain
symptom free and pain free. God is doing some amazing things here. I don’t know
how to describe it, but I think I am playing a part in the healings that God is
doing here in Malawi!

Schools: The whole team goes out to
visit schools. We dance, sing, preach, and teach. God has truly been growing me
as a teacher/preacher. I have had the opportunity to speak many times, some
planned, and some impromptu, but God has given me the words and the wisdom to
pour out. Much of our team is experiencing the same. We are being stretched and
pulled to teach and preach. It is actually quite fun!

Open Air: We have even done open
air preaching and teaching. Typically we drive around in a truck with really
loud speakers to get the communities attention, then we have them all meet in a
local place or outside a home nearby. Then we begin to sing and dance and share
the gospel.

Church: I have had the opportunity
to speak at 2 different churches. Both are under/founded by the same man,
Pastor Tony and Momma Pastor. One of the churches is similar to a church back
in the states minus the air conditioning, while the other is a cement slab with
upright logs to hold up the grass thatched roof and no walls. I LOVE IT!

Mzuzu is insane. It is the 3rd
largest city in all of Malawi, and yet it is smaller than Venice Fl. by a
lot! I apologize for my lack of emails,
and lack of blogging. I have been so occupied on ministry this month and
relationship building with my new Malawian family that I have just had no
desire to look at computer. The good news is that I have fallen in love with
this place. I “AM” coming back here if the Lord will let me! I don’t know when,
but I am missing it already just thinking about it.

In other news, I cracked my back
left molar and am now missing a quarter of my tooth, fun! I will need all of my
support paid in full by Dec. 15. So if you are still planning on giving please
help me out by having it turned in no later than that. Thank you all for your
help. This trip would not have happened without you!

I have 2 videos made, but I am not
sure that the internet is going to let me post them. I know this blog doesn’t
do Malawi justice for what I have seen and been a part of, but I just don’t
have words. SO I figured a highlight would work.
