66 people on a 65 passenger bus, 3 border stops, 2 of which we stayed
the night at, one night on the bus, the next night I slept under a
parked semi truck next to our bus, and 70 hours later we make it to
southern malawi in a city called blantyre
then a twelve hour bus ride, 60 people on a 40 passenger bus, 4 armed
guard baggage checkpoints, and one night later I am in Mzuzu
a total of 1.5 weeks of travel and we finally made it here!
I am in Mzuzu Malawi. It is beautiful here, and the people ROCK!
I am doing ministry, but it is way different than anything I have ever experienced! Literally today we spent 2 hours in prayer as our pastor/leader cast demons out of a girl we met while doing house visits! It was freaky deaky! She would fall on the ground and get back up, she would lurch towards us and foam slightly at the mouth. She would suddenly start kicking her feet or going limp… I have never seen anything like it at all! But I can’t deny that God was in that room. Something similar, a lot less dramatic happened yesterday, and again God was in that room. The girls attitudes changed. They suddenly were filled with tears, and there was joy in their eyes. The girl today, the crazy experience, she told us she had joined a group of people that worship satan. Literally drank blood and joined this cult. She was having night terrors and waking up with pain in the back of her head where she dreamt demons had hit her with a hammer.
Africa is insane, but again God is here and is going to teach me a LOT!
That is where I am, and what I am doing.. be in prayer for me! I so want to understand, and have my eyes opened to these things. I need a refreshing of the spirit of God to pour out in my life. That is the prayer I need right now!
