Hey all,
In response to one of my previous blogs that seems to have
people concerned about the team…
I feel as though some things have been getting better. I
feel like this place and this team, are truly starting to grow on me bit by
bit. It is amazing how some things just take time. Still, continue to be in
prayer. We still have a lot of growing to do in order to become the family that
we long to be..
Today is Thursday and we are preparing to head for Ireland
this Saturday. It is looking like our team will be staying in Ireland for the
month. Where we are going and what we are doing? Well, that is still a mystery
that we are both waiting to figure out.
I finally got a video to post. This is a video of some of
the kids and us down by the river. Last 5 minutes is part of our first Sunday here
when we were asked to give a message 30 minutes into the church service.
It comes from 2 Kings 2:1-9
If you read it first, it might give you some insight into
the message.
On a side note, I still am low in the support funds! You
have helped me raise 7600. I am currently supposed to have a minimum of 8000 in
there by Sept. Please help me in continuing to raise support. Spread the word,
pray, give. Tell your friends, family, and even the banker behind the window
about this race! It is a cause worth fighting for, and a cause worth being
invested in. I need your help.
