When I heard about the World Race Gap year, I knew that I could not pass up this opportunity. Instead of going to college right away, I’ve decided to take gap year traveling, serving, and living out of a backpack for 9 months. During my time in these countries my team and I will be doing different forms of ministry such as teaching English, working with victims to sex trafficking, planting churches, working with orphans, and preaching the Gospel.

I am so blessed with this opportunity, and I am confident that this is what God has planned from me and that He will provide. To go on this trip, I must donate $14,951 total. This includes food, shelter, travel expenses, and insurance. I have applied to several places for work, but I cannot raise all the money on my own.  If you would like to support me, you can do so through prayer or financial donations. $14,951 may sound like a big number, but if 100 people donate $150, I would be fully funded. I will be blogging off of this website to keep those interested up to date with my journey.

Donations can be submitted online through my blog at www.willholt.theworldrace.org or by clicking on the “Support Me” tab, or send by mail to:

Please include “Will Holt – World Race Gap Year” in the memo line on the check.

My trip would not be possible without your support. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or (512-944-2013)
