Well we have been in debrief for 2 days now, and we have 2 or 3 left. This has been such a wonderful time of fellowship and relaxation with my team and the rest of the squad, I am very thankful for it. We having been going non-stop for such a long time that it is such a blessing to slow down, rest up and spend time with everyone on our squad. It fills me with so much hope and excitement to see all the great things that have been happening with Team Zoa. I know God is going to bring us so close and take us to great places.

The Hostel where we are staying during debrief

Big Sam, the local Rodesian Ridgeback of the Hostel. Awesome guy, nice to get some doggy time 🙂
I had the opportunity to talk with my great friend Ethan last night on Skype. It fills me with so much joy to see the way God is working in his life, and how he is still pressing into the Lord and getting to know our Father in heaven, even after I am gone. I am very proud of him, I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes him, and it was such an encouragement to me, all the way here in Africa. I believe that God has such great things planned for all of us: Team Zoa, Z Squad, all my family, friends, and Milestone Church.

My little home away from home for the foreseeable future.
I can’t help but wonder what the next 10 months will bring. What type of friendships? What type of ministry? What type of experiences? Who will I meet? How will I grow and change? Who is the man God is turning me into? What will I think of Him when this year is all over? These are the questions I ponder on often. I don’t have the answers to these questions, but I can’t wait to go with my Father, my savior and my best friend on the rest of this journey.
