I’m back! Hello everyone! I sure missed updating yall and sending out blogs and whatnot, but my internet fast was really great and much needed. It removed the distraction of staying connected for a while, and really helped me focus on the things Dad wanted to do in my life. What a spectacular, month of growth it has been.

This place is so beautiful and so culturally rich. It’s a trip living in a city that has THOUSANDS of years worth of history, when it’s a spectacle to see a structure that’s 100 years old at home. Try looking at wonders that were on Earth before Dad sent his son here and you will be simply mesmerized.

The work we did this month was really fun, and we got to meet a lot of great locals. Most days we would go to local Universities and make new friends amongst the students. These universities we visited were basically the Ivy League of this country. We were making friends with the best and brightest people in the nation, at the most prestigious schools. I’ll be honest, it was kind of intimidating at times, but the people here are very hospitable and want foreigners to feel welcome in their nation, so we were well received and everyone was eager to spend time with us. When we visited a school and met a new friend, we would usually go and share a meal with them. We used this time to get to know them and see what their lives were like; they were interested in our lives just as much as we were interested in theirs. During this time, we would also share the Good News with them, every time, and we would give them the opportunity to believe in Dad. One of our friends told us that this was the only way they would ever hear the good news. If we didn’t share it with them, they might never know. This was such a bold and extravagant way to operate, daily, and it was so good. It was back to the basics.

“Hey, I care about you so much, that I am going to tell you the best news in the world, the first time I meet you, no matter what, and even if you don’t care or want to hear it, at least now you KNOW.”

This was a phenomenal month. Our hosts were our age, from our same country, and from day one they loved us. They encouraged us, taught us, and accepted us into their community. They shared their passion with us and their vision and it re-ignited the fire Dad has put inside of me. In a few short weeks we saw SIX people come into the family and make the best decision of their lives, and two others who are oh so close. These people’s lives are forever changed; they will never be the same now that they have experienced Dads love. This is such a huge victory, in a nation such as this.
All of this happened because of bold and extravagant love, on our part and on Dads part. We could all do with a little more bold extravagance, even back home where we enjoy, and often take for granted, so many liberties that others don’t even know they are missing . Love you guys.
