Seth Barnes is one of those men whose steps I wouldn’t mind following. In fact, some of his encouragement and wisdom spoken to me over the last couple of years have been the very inspiration I’ve needed to launch out into the dreams I have. Back in 2006, Seth launched the initial World Race squad and within a couple of years and several adjustments, it won’t be long before 1000 people will have participated in the program. However, The World Race never has been or will be his main goal or venture. After watching the program build and begin to gain ground, Seth passed off the program and moved on to the next step.
Since
Seth was able to start Adventures in Missions and bring The World Race to fruition, one would think there would be another incredible venture immediately following. However,
Seth made one the most humble moves by leaving his dream and going to fuel someone else’s. A friend of his started a discipleship school in Spain and it was already a successful program. But
Seth knew he needed to go and serve alongside someone else’s dream to continue to realize his own.
Seth was the first picture of a true “dream maker” I had ever seen and it showed me what I wanted to do with my life.
Currently,
Seth has now launched into a different program that combines all the projects and dreams he has had into one mission :
Kingdom Dreams. This program is basically a dream factory for people to set out on that crazy mission God is calling them to.
Seth and his staff are helping people know what steps are needed to be taken next to bring their dreams to reality, and then using
Seth’s vast network of people to link them up with the proper community. In essence, they’re providing a way for people to get the day dreams out of their imaginations and onto the field. It’s a mission that’s all about pouring into someone else’s dream and setting them up for success.
As I’m nearing the end of this blog project, I still want to open the door for you to follow others that I think are incredible. If you want to read more of
Seth’s story or read his blog that he regularly post in,
click here, or anywhere you see his name. Also,
Kingdom Dreams is doing some incredible stuff, so check out their site too
here. So take the tour around their site because this will be the last blog I link you guys too. I have three more days left on this incredible journey and I still have some incredible stories to tell…
