I may be stealing cmac’s thunder a little, but I just had to share it as well.

On August 27th, I posted about a dream where rain came down hard from the heavens, but it wasn’t just rain, but blessings from God. There was so much rain/blessings, that we didn’t know what to do with it all, like it says in the Bible. Courtney Mac had commented, “I was praying for the squad and I literally felt and saw a ton of rain
which was kind of confusing – your dream gave me shivers!”

Fast forward to Tuesday, September 15th. cmac and I were getting ready for her sharing night. all of a sudden, it started pouring really hard outside. All I could do was think of my dream 3 weeks ago. It was almost time to head out, so we spent some time in prayer. By the time we finished praying, it had slowed raining, but a light drizzle. I’m still in the living room, when courtney asks me to come outside quick. I jokingly say, “what, is it raining money?”

outside, there’s the biggest, most distinct rainbow you would ever see right in front of us. i’ve seen big rainbows, but this one was BIG. not only are rainbows a sign of covenant from God, but i knew it was a sign from God of the things to come.

the sharing went very well, a lot of ppl showed up from her church, despite having heard that the church was tired of supporting misisonaries, and would not want to be asked for money yet again. it was really encouaging to see a community come together to show support, and i was really privileged and blessed to have witnessed it for my fellow canadian racer sister.

go back in time to Sunday, september 13th. i had just finished sharing at my church, Acts Fellowship Church about the world race. I asked for support not necessarily for me (although i still need help), but for my teammates. i was given one cheque on the spot. i didn’t look at the amount, but i felt that this was for courtney, and not anyone else.

a lot of cheques, cash and pledges came in. courtney had needed around $3600 to be able to start the world race on october 6th. while we were cleaning up, i got the amount $4275 in my head. when we added up the numbers, the total was $3910. a bit shy of the $4275 i had in my head. i pull out the cheque i had saved as a surprise for courtney. a $300 cheque, issued by Bank of Nova Scotia, where Courtney’s from.  New total, $4210. yes, it’s not quite $4275, but this was pretty darn close.

God is Awesome, pass it on.
