belong to the Great White North. This means I will spell things with extra
vowels and letters, e.g., honoUr, coloUr, and ask for “pop” rather than “soda.”

I am currently finishing up the 2 year Building RenovationTechnician program, which ends in April of 2009. Before starting this program,
I got bit by the travel bug in Thailand where I got hooked on open
water diving and rock climbing. I proceeded to Australia almost right after, to
quench my cravings for those two things. I then visited my home soil, South Korea
for a month to see my relatives. Being able to combine travelling to new places, and serving is such an awesome and unique way to Glorify God.

I’ve had a handful of different jobs including educational assistant,
and forklift driver for shipping/receiving. I have also moved a lot-16
different addresses in 19 years, and driven over 20 different vehicles. I play
a lot of different sports such as softball, soccer, floor hockey and ultimate.
I also enjoy going for a run, or a bike ride. Living in Toronto, it’s hard not to be a hockey fan,
but my love has to go out to soccer and baseball over the always disappointing
Leafs. 😛
I hope to get into the reno
business after World Race. I’ll either find a good group of people to work
with, or start something small on my own. Eventually, I hope to become a permanent
staff with Habitat for Humanity, locally or internationally.
