So, I am not going to post my actual Support Letter up here because you have likely already received it and that is how you ended up at my blog. I will spin you something a little different but it will start the same.
Hi, my name is Will Gibbs and I am embarking on the World Race in January 2013. The World Race is a missions experience in which I will travel to 11 different countries over 11 months learning, loving, and serving God. I was led here through much prayer to discover God’s Will (read my How I Was Called to Missions post). I am super excited about the experience but I cannot do it alone. I need YOUR HELP! I must raise $15,500 cold, hard US currency. My personal goal is to hit that mark before the day I step on the plane in 6 months. How will you (my new partner) and I do this? By telling everyone that I need prayers and financial support, one or the other is great but both are super great.
