Hello everyone,
It’s been awhile. I am so glad to be writing you with so much good news . It has been eventful the last 3 months with the political climate and ongoing pandemic. I am praying love, peace, unity and reconciliation all over the world. May we treat each other with love, compassion and kindness. Lets make this world a better place.
I am still working in bush Alaska at a school with 91 kids ranging from preschool to 12th grade . The community is amazing and full of brown bears, small planes, salmon and trout. I am making new friends, learning lots of new things and helping to keep people safe. The local community clinic has done a wonderful job managing covid in the community and the fishing & cannery industry. This community is equipped with top of the line rapid PCR testing that result in 15 or 45 mins depending on which machine used, which is free to the community. What they have done here in this community should be published for the world to see and used everywhere as a model. It’s totally incredible!!!
Adventures in Missions has officially published, The World Race will be launching the Unscripted route in January 2021 to South & Central America. Our original plan has been thrown out the window and I am so excited to see what the Lord is doing!!! 2020 has truly been a whirlwind and I have truly learned to surrender it all to Jesus and go with the flow.
Things are coming together so quickly and effortlessly. I started my travel vaccines schedule and was able to get in quickly to see the only clinic in Alaska that offers Yellow Fever vaccine. I also was able to order the needed vaccines & picked up different treatment. Travel vaccines are a new step for me and well over due.
Overwhelming amounts of love, prayer & support continue to pour in. I have a growing list of prayer warriors who are already praying. My sweet friend, Cindy Barty from my church & small group Be the Bridge , which focuses on racial reconciliation, is a massage therapist. She kindly donated free massage sessions to help me fundraise. While another local clinic donated some medical supplies . So many amazing friends, church and family members have donated $7,910 which makes me 44% funded. Everyone’s generosity is overwhelming. I cant express my deep gratitude.
Its not too late if you would like to participate in this journey with me. The WR requires each participant to raise $17,900 to cover the costs of training, travel, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. Please consider partnering with me. I was looking for at least 60 people to donate at least $25 dollars monthly for 1 year. If that’s not possible, any prayers, support and donation is a blessing. Adventures in Missions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible.
The World Race is a missions trip to 11 countries in 11 months. Where we will be serving, loving and partnering with established organizations around the world to bring heaven down to earth. Over the next few year I will fundraising, holding events, blogging and sharing my journey. Please stay connected and feel free to share everything.
