I want to start out saying Thank you, Thank you Thank you to everyone that has shown so much love, and support with just my acceptance to Adventures in Missions (AIM) World Race (WR) Unscripted!!! Let me recap what has happen since posting the 1 st blog. I had been contacted by so many friends and family sending congrats and asking how they can help . At church and in my small groups ppl have already started praying. I already received financial donations & verbal commitments. I also reached out to two missionary friends that have completed the WR previously. One donated all her equipment/ gear to me for free. While the other one has agreed to basically mentor me through the process and share her insight.
Things are popping like popcorn! I am so excited, amazed and in awe of what is happening! God has big plans!So far all of this has been truly effortless , overwhelming and I am so grateful. I know that I am being stretched in every area of my life and will be learning so many new things. All of this is confirmation and I know that I am moving in the right direction.
The next WR step is fundraising. Fundraising revealed some hidden fears that I had no idea that existed in my life. I had always just paid for my previous mission trips and the total was overwhelming. I knew I needed help from others and couldn’t & shouldn’t do it all myself. After speaking with my mentor, she helped me to replace my fears with peace, look at fundraising on a smaller scale & realize God’s got all of this! He’s trustworthy, faithful and my ultimate provider! I will not lack anything!
If you would like to help, I am going to need prayer and financial partners. The prayer warriors will be praying for our team , leaders, ministry, people, travel & etc . We know that everything happens in the spirit before the natural and prayer is so important. The WR requirement is to raise $17,700 to be fully funded and my goal is to be complete by December 2020. I am looking for 60 people to prayerfully consider partnering and donating $25 for 12 months. If that’s not possible any donation is welcomed and gratefully appreciated. All prayer, generosity and financial support is truly a blessing and makes it possible for me to participate in Adventures in Missions Unscripted World Race leaving January 2021.
Adventures in Missions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible. The World Race is a missions trip to 11 countries in 11 months. Where we will be serving, loving and partnering with established organizations around the world to bring heaven down to earth.
