“If not us, the who? If not me and you? Right now, it’s time for us to do something.” These lyrics from Matthew West’s song “Do Something” speak to me every time I hear them. Unfortunately, we live in a world that is full of lost people. Daily we hear stories and see articles and have numerous opportunities to make a difference, yet it is so easy to keep going about our lives and say, “It’s alright, somebody else will do something.” I know I myself have fallen guilty multiple times.
But right now, God is calling me to give you the opportunity to help do something to make a difference in His world. To make a difference in the lives of His people.
I have 15 short days to raise $3285 in order to meet my first deadline for the World Race. I still know in my heart that this is the dream God has given to me and this is the dream He is calling me to pursue, this is the work He needs me to do.
And I feel that He is desperately calling you to take part in this mission with me.
Just think. If there was one child, one woman, one man whose life could be radically changed forever….who could come to have the HOPE that comes with knowing that there is a God who LOVES them unconditionally…and all it would take on your part was to give a small donation….would you do it?
God is giving you the opportunity to make a difference and to serve Him. How wonderful is it that we serve a God who does His great works through us?! Ephesians 3:20 says, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.”
It is my promise to you if you choose to take part in this ministry that you will be frequently updated of how you are helping make a difference in the lives of Gods people.
