A lot of people have asked how they can support me while on the race.
First of all, thank you, thank you!
I need support. I need prayer and I need financial support.
Financial support can be given as a onetime gift or in monthly gifts. If 100 people give $15 a month for 10 months, I will have nearly all my funds raised. Similarly, if only 25 people pledged $50 a month for 12 months, I would have nearly all my support raised.

On the memo line, please write HUNTLEYWHITNEY or you can send me an email (via the contact me! link) and I will send you a support card to mail with your check that will ensure that everything is credited properly. You can also get the check to me and I will mail it for you if you'd like.

I have a few financial deadlines to meet, that I am going to outline below so that you can see what I am shooting for as far as fundraising goes.
Deadline #1: Two weeks before training camp (training camp will probably be around May 20) I have to have $3500 in my account.
Deadline #2: Two weeks before launch (launch will be in July, but I will not have this exact date until June!) I must have $6500 in my account.
Deadline #3: Month 3 on race, I must have $11,000 in my account. (September/October 2012)
Deadline #4: Month 6 on race, I must be fully funded, that is, have $15,500 in my account. (December 2012/January 2013)
Pledged donations do not count towards ANY of these deadlines, the money must ACTUALLY be in my account at those times.
