Just an update, for those who do not know, but my route has been changed and instead of Bulgaria, my squad and I are now in Honduras.

First of all, I am so excited, because Honduras is where I first served in missions, and it just seems so perfect. I am so happy to be here in this beautiful country. We are staying at a ministry that houses young boys that are living on the streets and helps get them rehabbed and introduces them to Jesus. The first Sunday here, one of the boys preached for us. Right now we are doing projects around the house, (my team and I are building a garden, MOM!) and once a week we will go to a home for teenage girls rescued from the streets and minister to them, as well as go to local colonies and play soccer and games with the kids there. On Fridays we will be going to the streets to share Jesus and make people smile. It’s a lot different than my last trip here, but the country is still so beautiful and the people…I love the people.

This past week I got to celebrate my birthday, and it was so nice. Lucky for me, my birthday fell on a shower day, so I got a shower! I also got to do laundry and my teammates wrote me sweet notes and gave me a cookie and some peanut m&ms. I celebrated my birthday with my family before I left, so this was such a nice way to mark the day. Twenty-six…

Honestly, I just feel so blessed with this ministry. I get to spend such sweet time with the Lord, and He is teaching me to go pour out the love he lavishes on me to others. Over and over, the Lord is just showing me how much He loves me, through Himself, His Word, and others. He is teaching me that I won’t always feel Him, but He is always there. He is teaching me to use my voice and speak with conviction. I am praying for openness, growth and learning to walk in the gifts that He has equipped me with this month. I am so grateful for all my supporters who have gotten me this far, and I pray that I continue in growth and continue searching the Lord’s heart to honor you and your prayers and gifts.
