When I was told to "GO" did I listen?
No, I didn't. Jesus came to me last July at an event called Cornerstone Festival and I let him into my heart right then and there.

Not long after that he was telling me to "Go".  I kinda just brushed it off and told myself that missions weren't for me.

For a year he has been pushing me to go as I continue to grow in my faith.
I finally took him up on this and started looking into The World Race, where I applied and was accepted.

So, why would I want to live out of a backpack for 11 months as I trek across the world?
With no definite place to stay other than my tent?

Because I believe Jesus is worth abandoning everything for.
When Jesus called on his followers, he didn't want it at their convenience.  He told them to drop everything and follow.

Paul wrote the book of Romans to convince the Christians in that city to help him take the gospel to people who have never heard. Specifically, he wanted to go to Spain (Romans 15:24).
His ambition was to "preach the gospel where Christ was not known" and the people of Spain had never heard of Christ.

3,574,306,788 people and growing every second have never had an adequate opportunity to hear the gospel.

Throughout the Bible we are called to "GO"
Mark 16:15 And then He told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone."
Matthew 28:19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

I am picking up my own cross and carrying it.
Following Jesus is not easy and requires you to step out of your comfort zone.
I am abandoning my comforts to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
I am living Radically as a follower of my Savior.

So here I am, Lord. Send me.
