Introducing the Team!
We’re 2 days away from flying to Colombia! If you haven’t already seen the video, I wanted to share with you the rest of my team! We have a squad of 24 that will travel with us on the same route, with 4 smaller teams in it! We have a team of 7! Thank you guys for all your prayers and support! Written version below:
Connor
This guy! Look at his smile! An expert Vlogger, who loves to rally and bring people together! A natural leader, in fact he is our team leader! He is very level headed and brings insight to the entire team! A guy who loves to share the Gospel, and share it well! He is going to be for sure one who will bring the team together and encourage us through tough times. I’m going to learn a lot from him!
Daniel
This man loves fellowship! He grew to lead a Men’s fellowship in Hawaii, and has the heart to talk deep and meaningful things! He cares for the well being of all the guys around him! He never worries about what he will say on his mind, but the great thing is, its always out of empathy and care! He’s relaxed and chill and wouldn’t hesitate to have a heart to heart conversation! He’s also our logistics coordinator taking care of where and how we will go to places!
Jezie
Jezie! Our appointed Safety Coordinator! Who else better than someone who cares about the well being of our team! She’s the type of person who can calm a stressful situation and uplift spirits! I know Jezie has a heart to do acts of service. A love towards others that is comprised of real actions. She is willing to take the sacrifice to help better the well being of the team!
Kaylin
Kaylin! With so much biblical knowledge and love towards people, she is a big advocate of human and social justice! She has a big heart towards orphans kids and you can see it in her attitude! Kaylin has definitely a way of talking to you that you can see her intentions behind it which is just purely compassion and love! She is also our worship coordinator! I’m excited to learn from her ukelele style!
Maggie
Maggie! The heart set on fire! Or should I say the personality set on fire! You’ll never meet someone more outgoing and encouraging than Maggie, especially when she prays for you! I’ve seen her go up to complete strangers and turn their hurt and defensive hearts into a warm tear-filled heart!”
Oscar
Gentle, Quiet, and Kind. This man can be quiet in group settings, but we can talk deep meaningful stuff one on one! When he does speak in group settings, he’s always bringing wisdom and insight that a lot of us never thought about! This guy really knows how to get to know someone! He loves to hear your stories and is great at processing things! I’m excited to learn a lot from him!
