This month is going to be very sweet. We get to work with youths who struggle with addiction, mainly drug addiction. We are working with a rehabilitation centre called Mision Adulum in El Alto. The kids here are very sweet. They greet us and welcome us so warmly, its almost as if they were never affected by the cruel past of gang violence and mistreated families. Pray that we can be a positive impact in their lives. Pray for the ministry workers here as they so lovingly pour out their hearts to these kids.
Pray also that we can keep warm! We’re living at 5 degree temperature indoors (not much insulation) and living in altitudes of 13,500 feet! Oxygen is hard to get by, and playing sports with the kids literally we’re out of breathe in a few steps!
