I haven’t made an official announcement about this! We’re leaving Romania right now! And we have a change of route! Month 11 will be in Spain/Portugal instead of Albania! We will be walking the pilgrim walk called Camino del Santiago! Because of our time limit, we will be walking a section of the French way.
We will be walking 462 kms! (287 miles)
Each day will be 16km to 30km.
Starting from Burgos to Santiago
From July 25 – August 18.
25 days total.
We will be meeting other pilgrims who are on a spiritual walk and be able to share our life stories and how we have experienced God. We will also spend this time to process and draw close with God in a new tangible way.
This is going to be very difficult with my knee problems and my exhaustion from even walking 2.5 miles (tested a walk). We also aren’t planning any hostel or albergues. So we’ll be trusting in God in new ways that I haven’t before!
That being said, you may not see me as much on social media! This is our last month on this missions trip. It’s wild how fast it’s gone! It’s wild what we’ve all experienced in the last year! We’re going to take a lot of time reflecting and thinking about all that has happened!
