It’s been over two and a half years since I had my training camp for The World Race. I still like to say it was one of the best and worst weeks of my life. Physically, spiritually, and mentally exhausted, I experience the realness of Christ like never before. The past 10 days I was able to see things from the other side. I welcomed my F Squad family, all 44 of them, to their training camp as they began their crazy journey as World Racers.

In a month’s time I will take off to Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Botswana, Swaziland, and South Africa on a 11-month life-transforming trip to lead these beautiful men and women of God into their destiny. That destiny being Christ in them, the hope of Glory. Now that’s good stuff!

My role, along side my amazing co-leader Kelsey, is to encourage and empower these Jesus loving folks as they go out unto the nations. We desire to cultivate a community of love, excellence, and unity amongst us and we want people to see Christ when they look at F Squad. This is a group that wants to change the world and I’m honored to be a part of that. So speaking of my Squad, I’d like to introduce you to the men of F Squad in no particular order:

Derek Gill is a man that is wise beyond his years. He walks in humility and isn’t afraid to be weak because he knows where his strength stands. His strength is rooted in his savior and he doesn’t make a move without hearing his Father’s voice. With a heart for discipleship, Derek is a man that breaks chains and leads people close to the Father’s heart.

Zachary Ripley is a man that just gets it. He knows what it takes to get intimate with his Father and he is not afraid to go to the messy places. He is an encourager and life bringer to those around him. This man is extremely talented and uses those talents for a purpose beyond himself. When I look at Zach I see Christ, when I’m near Zach I feel Christ’s presence.

Chris Clermont is a man of honor and obedience. He is a game changer and he’s not afraid to speak what needs to be said. He has a pastoral heart and takes every opportunity to pour into the people around him. He truly loves like Christ! This year, Chris is stepping into something big and he is going to shake the ground wherever he walks!

Joshua Glover is a man that speaks with love and gentleness. But watch out, his voice carries weight and when he speaks, heads turn and lives are changed. He has such a loving heart and he’s a comforter at all times. He’s passionate and full of life and he’s always looking to experience more of Christ every day!

Sam Hansen is a man that was born for adventure. He lives life to the fullest every day and loves others well. One thing that I love about Sam is when he prays, mountains move. He’s bold and confident and stepping into his true identity. His heart desires to bring Christ to nations and nothing will stop him!

Jake Schroeder is a man that walks in true sonship. He knows his authority and isn’t afraid to take initiative. He’s all about having a good time but he never lets anything distract him from the intimate relationship he has with his Papa. This dude is stomping on the status quo and leading others into the fullness of Christ!

Justin Athanaseas is a man of peace and kindness and I love the integrity and honesty that he carries. This guy wants change big time, for himself and for others, and he knows what the answer is: Jesus! He knows and has experienced his Father’s unconditional love and he’s ready to see love spread across the globe!

Dillon Seeley is a man who is full of joy. He brings excitement everywhere he goes. What I love about this man is how much he embraces challenges and pushes through with perseverance and strength. He sees the best in every situation and helps others to do the same. He’s just real and raw and such an incredible man of God!

When I take a look at these guys I see real men stepping outside the comfortable lifestyle and pursuing a life beyond their own! They have already challenged me and taught me so much in just a few weeks time. I am privileged to serve along side these men for the next 11 months!
