I’ve been back in the states for over a week now after spending the last six months of my life at G42 Leadership Academy in Spain. Summing up this time really isn’t possible but I’ll say a few words. Spain was captivating; beauty was in every turn of the head. The people were alive and fun and free. It’s a place that captured my heart in many ways.
G42 class was mind-blowing. I had the opportunity to sit at the feet of some truly passionate and powerful men of God, from pastors, prophets, business owners, musicians, artists, and more, these men are all extremely successful and having an impact all over the world. I’ve received some impartation from each of these guys and am truly walking more like Christ because of them.
G42 community is something that I have never experienced, the most transforming part of my time here started with the people around me. Andrew Shearman and David Fredricksz loved us like fathers. The rest of the leadership poured into us so much. My fellow interns were people of love, honor, and excellence. Doing life with them daily was phenomenal.
My time here was the most challenging and most impactful time of my life up to this point. It was for sure the best 6 months of my life but I know the next season will be even better. G42 helped me discover who I am and what my purpose is. I now know my future plans for this upcoming year and after. I’m diving in full speed and not looking back.
So speaking of what’s next, I’ve been officially accepted as a World Race squad leader and I’ll be heading out in July. I’ve wanted to do this since I was on my original race and now the opportunity is here. It’s a time for me to pour out everything that I have to a group of world changers. It’s also to give back to an organization that has blessed me so much. For all of you that know how much this trip changed my life, well the transformation would not have happened if it weren’t for my leaders. I’m fully confident as I walk into this role as a leader and so excited to be a part of this journey.
What does this look like for me?
I’ll be one of the first leaders to be gone the entirety of the trip. I’ll be working along side a few others and leading a group of 50 to 60 racers. My focus is the squad. I’ll travel from team to team and stay with each for an extended period of time. During this time I will serve with them in their ministry and I will be an example. I’m going to love and disciple them and call them into greatness. My passion is to see people fully walk into their identity and complete freedom in Christ. I just want to be a part of what God is going to do through this squad. I’m still not sure as to what squad I’ll be leading or what countries I’ll be going but I’m ready for whatever that looks like.
I’m asking for prayer and financial partners. Pray for wisdom and authority under Christ and that I can love like never before. Pray for protection, last trip was very tough for me. I was sick much of the time and had a really close call with malaria. I speak life over my health and ask that you do the same. Also pray for my squad as they step into the toughest year of their life.
I need to raise $3500 for this trip, which is such a blessing. My original world race was $15500. This will cover all cost including insurance for the entire 11 months. My current priority is to pay off the remainder of my G42 tuition, which is a little over $3000, by the beginning of July.
