Blessings have come in from every direction! I thought all this ministry would pile up and really burn me out but when your doing God's work he provides rest where it is needed. I have never felt so filled by the spirit…the Spirit gives life the Flesh counts for nothing! All the opportunities God has given me this month are really opening my eyes. He puts stuff right in front of me and carries me through all of it. He provides the way through the good and bad. When I first heard I was going to Cape Town I was super excited and painted this picture in my head of what it would look like when I arrived. Then I got here it was nothing like I expected. There were rules all around me and that is was really bumming me out. Then as I began to die to myself and simply go with the flow. God brought to my attention something I still had to learn. I discovered not to have expectations and that there truly is a purpose and plan for it all. When I try to change the plan thats when I mess it up! All these speaking opportunities have really opened doors for me. I know I will always have a home in South Africa. My ministry site has been such a blessing. Bradley, the leader of the sports ministry, has really demonstrated what it looks like to me a man of God. Every morning he picks us up and from the start to the end of the day he finds ways to serve us and pour into us! My Host family has so much unconditional LOVE and shown me the true meaning of selflessness. One perfect example of how God is in control would be last night. Last night was Paul's birthday (the leader of N'pursuit) and we went to wish him a happy birthday in Kalk Bay at the Brass Bell. It was getting late and the last train I thought ran at 8 o clock. It turns out I was wrong it was 7:30 and that goes for the taxi service as well. So Josh and I really didn't know what to do, Josh began to panic haha and looked at me to make the call and I said don't worry we will figure this out. Soon after that a massive bus passed by and on the back of it "Christians" was written. So I looked at him and said its worth a try. We ran along side of it while it was in traffic and I knocked n the door. Sure enough, they were heading to Ocean View (thats where we live). I asked the driver and he said, "No, I'm sorry this is a private charter." Then immediately after a woman passenger came around the corner and said its ok come on board! The driver said if its ok with them then fine… Josh looked at me with a puzzled face and I laughed with pride! As I was saying "trust me" we boarded the Bus to find out it was at full capacity with a traveling Muslim lady singing group call the "Green Roses." We were immediately taken by suprise when they all broke out in song dressed in traditional Muslim outfits! We were the only men on the bus sitting all the way in back of a "Muslim passenger bus of ladies" called "Christians." I love when God sets up appointments in our lives. I began to talk with the ladies in back trying not to offend anyone and being respectful. But really what was thew worst they could do….throw us off the bus! I managed to get myself invited to their Masque in Ocean View to their next singing event haha we will see what God has in store! But things like that are happening all around me! When I am obedient to God, He shows up in the craziest of circumstances! I hope that encourages you! If you feel like you don't see God in the way you like to! Pray for Him to show up in your life in a new way! Pray bold prayers! Follow His will and He will never fail you!
My deadline is approaching quickly and I am still at 8,578.01 but I am not loosing faith! By the end of the month I know God will have me exactly where I am supposed to be!
