Check out my month in Thailand in photos!

CHIANG KHONG– Our home for the month. It’s a fairly small city, but thankfully our home (the church our host is a pastor at) was fairly close to the supermarket, Tesco/Lotus.

WORK, WORK, WORK– We worked in the mornings on our ministry days, leveling out the bottom of the church so they could get started on filling it up with sand to hopefully make it an enclosed space someday. We also laid down concrete in another area of the downstairs.

COFFEE OR NOT– I chose to fast coffee this month but luckily our host’s shop had other yummy drinks like matcha latte. This was also our number one hangout site.

TEACHING– This was probably my favorite part of ministry this month. We got to form meaningful relationships with these students, who are originally from Hmong villages by simply playing games with them and teaching them English from Monday to Friday. Each of my teammates and I decided to take a couple students or more to teach English to, to cater to their skills and to form that relationship. They were all so simply gentle and wonderful and the most loving. Not to mention they are all so musically talented; they are the band on Sunday’s for worship.

Sadly today, Sunday the 26th marks our last day of ministry here in Thailand. My team and I are going through emotional waves of sadness and gratefulness for the month we’ve been blessed with.

Please pray for us in learning how to grieve this season well but to also be ready and excited for the month to come. Thank you!

Thanks for reading and God bless!
