My team and I did all sorts of ministry in Argentina, working closely with the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Mendoza staff and students. In it all we learned to be F L E X I B L E, as all the plans that were given to us in the mornings always changed late in the morning if not by midday. It was difficult for me to adjust to at first, especially since growing up in a orientated culture but God has been teaching me that all will be done in His timing alone.

Ministry last month included:

-Intercessional/prayer walk over a community nearby

-Going to a preschool expecting to teach them about the earth and reforestation, only to help the teachers there make flowers as centerpieces for a fundraising event they were going to have

-Helping out with a YWAM program called King’s Kids. We acted out a little skit about finding our identity in Jesus alone and did activities with the kids

-Helping out a local church with evangelizing at a local park– we essentially painted nails, played with kids and then performed a small skit, as a means of creating space to talk about Jesus

-Went to a local school to teach them the importance of recycling

-Helping setup for a wedding that was held at the YWAM base

-Planning and running a weekend retreat for young adults

T’was a busy, fun, crazy month with many more relationships made with both my squadmates and the YWAM staff. A little piece of my heart was left behind…

Current event: Just got back from eating at a Korean restaurant in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia with three of my teammates and it was AMAZING. We got to Bolivia late Friday night, after 55 hours of travel and are settling into our busy schedule here.

And now here’s the video of my month in Argentina. ENJOY!
