Sorry for the delayed post from last week! Not to make excuses, but still making one right now; I got busy with having had adventure and travel days. Within the last week my team and I traveled from Chiang Khong to Chiang Mai and then to Bangkok where our squad reconvened for “Leadership Development Weekend” or LDW. Right after which we all made the big move from Asia to Europe, flying out from Bangkok, Thailand over to Belgrade, Serbia.
So here I am, in cold, chilly Eastern Europe. Crazy, right? I can’t believe we’re already more than halfway through the race and that we’re on another continent yet again. It’s so crazy how fast everything goes!
Currently I am sitting in a nice coffee shop in the upscale part of downtown Belgrade, where my team and I are trying to discern where God wants us to go. It is “Unsung Hero” month for us, meaning we are to go out and about making connections with potential hosts for future world race teams to connect with, especially in regions teams have not been to before. We’re staying in Belgrade here for a few more days before heading out wherever God may lead us. More on what that has looked like so far will be posted in the next blog 🙂
