Our time in South Africa comes to an end… tomorrow we leave for a 35 hour bus ride to Mozambique! I am feeling nervous, anxious & excited for what is to come & to see what God has in store! This month has been challenging, its my first month back on the mission field & I was so excited to re-unite with my teammates LOL= Ladies of Light, but  we never really got to spend much time as a team together as we were split up into two's & living with 3 different host families. We are now at debrief back together with our whole squad again,  yesterday we found out that teams are changing & I am no longer on team LOL. It is a little bit difficult to go through a team change, as I really grew to love LOL & what we stood for & those girls were so supportive to me during a devastating time in my life when I heard about my mother passing away; we really connected well as a team & loved spending time together & growing in the Lord. I am trusting that God knows best & that my new team will be as rewarding to be a part of as my last. So let me introduce you to my new team …. our name is  "Amaranthine"- which means mystical everlasting flower. We chose this name as we are once again an all girls team & we love how the beauty of this flower is never ending, never fading, & it reflects the everlasting beauty of living for the Lord & the beauty that He makes us. My new teammates are: Leader: Kristen Pfund, Tiffany Chen, Megan Miller, Maria Rocha & Jessica Brimmer (Jessica was also on LOL). This new team is a good mix & I am excited to get to know each girl & to serve along side them on the mission field.

Quick overview: South Africa is an amazing & beautiful place, full of God's beauty everywhere you look. This month God really taught me that ministry doesn't always look how we think it should, I really needed to trust God that He brought me & my team to the places He did for a reason & that even when we cannot see the final effect our service & prayers; God is working & moving & our time given in love is going to reap a harvest in God's timing. I am really learning that overall, love is the most important part of ministry, if there is no love then we really have nothing.

I don't know when I will be able to blog again, or how much internet access I will have as it's been very limited lately, hence the few blogs. I will keep posting as I am able…  my team will be living in a bush in Mozambique in our tents & ministering alongside an orphanage with construction work & house visitations & serving however we are needed. Please pray for safety, health, & strength for my new team as we step forward together on this new journey!
