January 14th was my mother's birthday. I wanted to do something special for her that day & remember it as her day rather than being sad & missing her too much. My teammates joined me on a little adventure, we went on a hike up the beautiful mountains in Swaziland & found a beautiful rock to sit on with an amazing view & we celebrated her life that she lived & where she is now. It meant so much to me that they were a part of this & they even took the time to pray over me & just speak words of encouragement & life into me. We sang a few songs of worship & even sang Happy Birthday to my mother. Two of my teammates Megan & Tiffany during the walk up picked wild flowers & gave them to me, which was a special touch!

Yes! This is our backyard for 3 weeks! It was the perfect place to celebrate her birthday!
I miss her so much! But I know she is proud of me & safe with the Lord. Thank you Jesus for blessing me with her for 24 years!
