I feel so blessed to be back on the mission field & reunited with my teammates ! It is truly a miracle that I am here, in Cape Town, South Africa right now. As I was in Kentucky staying with my sister after hearing the news about my mother passing away, it felt like my life didn't make sense. I knew I had to be there with my sister, but I didn't think of how much money I would need to raise in order to return to the mission field. After spending 3 weeks in KY, I felt sure that God wanted me to go back onto the mission field. I was told I had to raise $4,800 in order for this to be possible. Discouragement quickly swept over me & in my mind I kept thinking how impossible that would be to raise such a large amount in such a short period of time. Not to mention I was not even home in Canada, I was in KY & no one there knew me; I didn't even know how to begin fundraising. I prayed about it, blogged, & set a goal to be back on the field by November 8th to meet up with my squad in South Africa. Honestly, my mind is blown by how this happened but thank God all the money I needed came in. Enough to cover my flight back onto the field & enough to help me meet my next deadline & remain on the field until March for sure. I still have about $4,000 to raise to stay until July, I am just so thankful to be back.

I am currently in Cape Town, South Africa, & team LOL= Ladies of Light, is doing ministry this month with "Christ Amazing Love Ministries." We are helping in kids church, women's ministries, choir, teaching english, business seminars, encouraging workers in the church, along with attending all the services, which is at least one per day.

So far I spoke at a meeting for the workers in the church, encouraging them to serve with servants hearts, in obedience & most importantly always walking in love. I also help with kids church twice a week & am meeting with one of the pastors to help him with his english.

Our team this month needs a lot of prayer, we have been facing many challenges, we have been split up into groups of 2, & the 6 of us have not had much time together.

South Africa is beautiful & breath taking! My teammate Shannon & I were blessed by some friends from the church with a surprise trip to Table Mountain! It was beautiful ! You could see the entire city of Cape Town from the top, it was a great experience & I am so thankful we got the opportunity to go.

Please continue to pray for my team as we continue our minstry in South Africa !
