The Lord placed us in Koinonia this month. We were living in fellowship with believers that we had never met before “but our hearts, they are the same”. Ma & Pa taught us what it looks like to really live like Jesus models in the gospel, to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and heal the sick. To let the little children come to Him. No matter the issue, if someone in the neighborhood is sick, they come to Ma & Pa for prayer, because they know their door is always open. We would spend nights out in the carport singing praise and praying for healing. Some nights while I was falling asleep I could hear Pa outside ministering to the neighborhood men. Every Friday at 3:00 we carried the biggest pot I have ever seen outside and there were lines of people with tupperware containers lined up for the feeding, some days we didn’t know if there would be enough, but we sang Pa’s favorite sang “Thank you Jesus, Amen. Thank you Jesus, Amen. Thank you Jesus, Amen. Hallelujah, Amen.” and every time we finished the last scoop on the last person in line. If that isn’t provision I don’t know what is.

Every afternoon, after we were finished painting the park walls, when 3:00 rolled around there were kids swarming the home, coming up to the door and running around outside begging us to come! As we went outside and met them, played with them, and loved on them we cherished every moment. We would sing children’s bible songs while they trickled in and when they had all arrived we would tell them a Bible story. We told them of Gideon, and that with God they can conquer anything. We told them of Samuel, and that God wants to call them by name, and then we finished the last 3 teachings by telling the story of Jesus’ life ending with the resurrection to lead into Easter.

As we watched God provide for this family, who buys enough food to feed 50+ people every week, and has no income of their own, we were reminded of the provision that has been given for us to be here. God is the provider, and we have watched him provide for every deadline up to this point. We have full faith that the last $6,000 will be provided in His timing, but I want to invite you to be a part of it.
I want you to know that the race is for everyone. As we spread the love of Jesus, and the truth of His Word around the world, it gives hope to the hopeless, and it changes our lives in the process. Our prayer is that by our experiences your hearts will be moved. If you are moved to give, we pray that you will be obedient. If the Lord moves you to start your own ministry where you are, we pray that you will be obedient in that. If you have already given, and are following our journey, maybe you know someone who would like to hear about what we are doing. I pray that you will search out how God wants to bring you into this journey, and how you can be a part of it alongside us!
