I think we all come into different seasons, jobs, adventures, etc. with a given set of expectations. If you would have
asked me many months or even years ago if i would be giving a year of my life to the world,
I would have told you that you are out of your mind!!!
Yet this is where Jesus has lead me and I trust in that. So over the next 2 months leading up to launch
and in the 11 months on the field I am expecting:
To see Jesus in an unbelievably amazing new way
To experience the power of the Kingdom in my life
To have my heart broken for the world
To hold the dying
To weep with the broken
To see God fully provide all the support needed (hint hint 🙂
To have my theological grid shattered
To see the Power of the Spirit
To be broken in major ways
To realize how big God is and how small I am
To make a lot of mistakes
To receive a lot of grace
To be challenged
To grow
To be transformed
To be an agent of transformation
To love on the hurting
To shine into the refuge
To comfort the orphan
To on an even greater level embrace that its really not about me
and never truly has been
For God to just to God
and in that, I hope to see the heavens open
and the Kingdom shine right in front of my face
Father, I pray that I would continue to lay down my agenda at your cross and trust that whatever I am hoping to see, that you would work your will throughout this next journey in my heart and in the hearts of the people
that I will be ministering to to. May your name be glorified over all things.
